Assessment Instructions

This individual assessment focuses on the practical application of data analysis techniques to inform. evidence-based business decisions. Drawing on a provided customer survey dataset, students will use SPSS to perform. statistical analysis and interpret the output in response to a set of predefined research and business questions. The assessment is divided into two parts:

- Part 1 addresses three research questions related to customer insights and behavior. Drawing on a provided customer satisfaction survey dataset, students will use SPSS to perform. statistical analysis and interpret the SPSS output in response to a set of predefined research and business questions.

- Part 2 focuses on three scenario-based questions requiring analytical reasoning and business recommendations. SPSS output will be provided for each business scenario. This task aims to enhance students’ capabilities in handling and interpreting real-world data, developing critical thinking skills, and communicating findings in a clear and professional business report format.

This course evaluates student performance for Assurance of Learning purposes for the program learning objective (PLO): Identify and critically analyse sources of data to inform. evidence based decision making
