Objective of the Report:

To develop a 3000-word research proposal based on preliminary reading, clearly identifying research questions and envisioned methods, in consultation with a supervisor. This proposal will be evaluated by the supervisor and submitted for assessment, forming the basis for the research proposal defense.

Preparation of Your Research Proposal:

This research proposal report should be grounded in your preliminary reading and should clearly identify your research questions along with the research methods you envision at this stage. It is important to discuss the development of this proposal thoroughly with your supervisor. The proposal should be approximately 3000 words in length.

The proposal report must be submitted to your supervisor, who will evaluate and assess them. The supervisor will  then submit the report with assessment marls to the postgraduate coordinator. This report is graded on a pass/fail basis of 100%, and if the work does not meet the required standard (<50%), you will be asked to re-submit.

Please check the plagiarism similarity percentage using Turnitin and ensure it is below 20%. Also, attach the Turnitin report when submitting it for your MST.

This report will serve as the foundation for your subsequent research proposal defense.
