You are required to analyse the case by applying the Nelson & Trevino approach to ethical decision-making and to reflect on the social responsibilities of Australian businesses, in particular the ethical issues that come with potential money laundering problem.

Your analysis should follow the first 5 steps of the prescriptive approach outlined by Trevino and Nelson. Make sure to reference your article properly in your slide presentation (this can be at the end of the presentation), along with other references you use for research. Note, that for a complete and thorough analysis you are most  likely going to need to search for additional newspaper articles and other materials covering the case.

Submission

• Prepare a video of your presentation. In the video recording we should be able to see both you and the PowerPoint slides.

• The maximum length of the video is 5 minutes.

• Submission is due by 23:59 on Friday 12 April 2024.

• Please follow the instructions on Canvas carefully, which details how to upload your MP4 file to Kaltura first before you submit on Canvas.

• A penalty of 10% mark per day will be applied to late submissions

Your submission should consist of the following:

1. A printed cover page, containing your name and student ID (download the form from Canvas) {completed form. to be uploaded to canvas}

2. A video of your presentation. In the videorecording we should be able to see both you and the power point slides. {completed file to be uploaded to canvas}

Marking

Your presentation will be marked based on:

1) how well you analysed the case at hand and on whether you did a proper application of Nelson & Trevino 5 steps,

2) quality of the presentation: professionalism and quality of the auditory / visual content.

Marks will be deducted for running over the strict 5-minute presentation limit and for not showing either yourself or the power point slides in the videorecording.

There are many YouTube videos that can help you on how to record and save a powerpoint presentation. You can also prepare your slides and use Zoom to record your presentation.
