Extra Credit Assignments

Deadline:  November 27

You can do up to 2 extra assignments for additional credit.  There are four choices for the assignment.  If you do two assignments, they must be different options.  The options are:

1. Write a poem either using an economic concept or about an economic concept.  Any form. of poetry is acceptable.

2. Draw a cartoon either using an economic concept or about an economic concept.

3. Make a T-Shirt design about an economic concept or using an economic concept.

4. Take a picture of something that demonstrates an economic concept and write a paragraph about what that concept is and how the picture illustrates it.

You should send your work to the TA for your recitation section.  Check with your TA to determine how they would prefer the assignments to be submitted.

Each TA will evaluate the quality of the work and assign a grade of 0, 1, 2, or 3 based on their judgement of the quality of the effort shown.  The following rubric will be used.

3	Understands the concept and is well executed
2	Grasps the concept and/or is adequately executed
1	Turned something in, but little thought or effort shown
0	Did not turn anything in
